White Cookies ( Share Your Mother's Recipe Entry)
A cross between a cookie and a cake, this delicious treat is almost like a snicker-doodle but so much more. Bake these little treats today and you be the judge. Simple Ingredients you probably already have on hand! This recipe was passed down from 3 generations by grandmother Charlotte Daniels

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Sugar
- ½ Cup Shortening (We use crisco)
- 1 Cup Milk
- 2 ½ Cups Flour
- 2 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
- Cinnamon Sugar Can buy pre-made or make yourself
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350o
- In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients carefully and mix. (by hand or with mixer)
- Spray a cookie sheet, and drop spoonful size amounts of batter on to sheet.
- Sprinkle tops with cinnamon sugar
- Bake for 10min, check with toothpick
- Serve
